Something not working, or not behaving as you'd expect? Get in touch and it'll be looked at properly — djLibrary is made by one person, so reports reach the person who can actually fix them.

before you write

  • Check you're on the current version — see the download page. djLibrary updates itself, so accepting a pending update sometimes settles it.
  • Have a look at the changelog in case it's already been fixed.

what to include

A report with these four things can usually be acted on immediately:

  1. Your djLibrary version — djLibrary → About djLibrary.
  2. Your macOS version — → About This Mac.
  3. Your Mac model — from the same About This Mac window.
  4. What happened — what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. If it involves specific tracks or a drive, say so.

Screenshots help. Please don't send library files, database files or logs unless they're asked for — they can contain the names of your tracks and clients.

feature requests

Welcome — same route. Being told what you're actually trying to do on a gig is more useful than a description of the feature, so include the situation if you can.
