• Nightly updates. Settings ▸ General ▸ Updates has a new Nightly choice: the newest builds, made most nights, with less testing. Nightly also gets every beta and release. You can switch back at any time; djLibrary never installs an older version, so you rejoin Beta or Release at its next newer build.
• Long AutoMix blends. Same-tempo tracks can now blend for 64 to 128 bars, starting on 16-bar phrase lines, with the outgoing track's outro playing under the incoming track's intro. The incoming track's bass comes in with a clean swap on a downbeat. AutoMix still never moves the crossfader, leaves your faders where they are when you take over, and never changes your grids or cues.
• Your MIX OUT cues. A MIX OUT cue you set yourself is never moved. If it sits too close to the end for a blend to fit after it, AutoMix starts the blend a little earlier so it still finishes beat-matched, instead of cutting.
• Fewer vocal clashes. When two vocals would overlap, AutoMix now prefers a clean cut at the end of a phrase over an echo exit. In long blends it can swap the vocal range from one track to the other at a quiet moment. The same artist isn't played back to back.
• Change audio settings while you play. Changing the output device or buffer size in Perform applies straight away. Previews, cueing, audition and timecode keep playing, and AUTO keeps running. Buffer sizes your interface can't handle are refused rather than glitching.
• Plug-ins come back as you left them. Saved plug-ins are restored to their slots after a restart, an older saved choice no longer overrides one you've just made, and restore progress or failures are shown rather than hidden.
• Decks. A tidier deck layout with Load and Eject grouped, artwork that stays the same size whatever the title length, and a fix for a ghost PLAY button that could appear on a deck.
• Beat FX. Picking an effect starts it fully wet, and DJ ON takes over from AutoMix's effect slot.
• Recording and export. Fixed a crash when finishing a recorded session. rekordbox USB sticks are now recognised by their own volume, so a stick you've used before isn't mistaken for another.
• Library update. On first launch your library is updated for upcoming features. A backup is taken first.

Known limits: in a few long blends the bass can thin out for a while if the incoming track has a breakdown soon after it comes in. AutoMix refuses a pair whose beatgrid disagrees with the audio rather than letting it drift; fixing that track's grid in rekordbox resolves it. Fades can still cross a vocal the detector misses.

• AutoMix lines up the bars. Fixed mixes that came in one or two beats out, with the snares clashing. rekordbox's automatic first-sound cue is often not on beat 1; AutoMix now starts on the bar line. Cues you named or placed yourself are never moved. The status line says whether the bar was checked against the audio or taken from the grid.
• Smoother screen during mixes. AutoMix's beat checking no longer runs on the screen's thread, and the Perform window redraws less often. That reduces freezes of the waveforms and counters while audio plays. Fixed the large waveform staying on "Loading waveform…" and the dark panel covering the playhead.
• MP3 timing correction. On first launch, imported rekordbox MP3s encoded with the common LAME encoder have their beatgrids, cues and waveforms moved by about 26 ms so they sit on the audio. A notice and Library ▸ Timeline Corrections… list what changed. Tracks you edited are left alone. A backup is taken before the library update.
• Re-measure Beatgrids. A new Library command shows how many grids would change and asks first. A rekordbox grid changes only when the audio agrees with a whole or half BPM; grids you edited and genuine tempo changes are skipped. BPM now always shows one decimal place.
• Next Up. No more duplicates of the playing song, an "Updating…" indicator while suggestions refresh, warnings for queued tracks that can't be beat-matched or clash in key, immediate thumbs-up/down feedback, queue animations, and a loading ring and flash on the deck as AutoMix loads a track. The track-load freeze is much shorter.
• Waveforms. Every beat is numbered 1-2-3-4, with bar 1 strongest.
• Beat FX dry/wet. Dry is no effect, 50% is full dry plus full effect, and Wet is the effect alone.
• Plug-ins. Ozone 9 and similar plug-ins load several times faster; editors open and close promptly. Intel-only plug-ins are marked (support ends after macOS 27). Plug-in scans no longer flash windows, and a loading ring shows while a plug-in loads.
• Audio buffer and resources. Every output device has a buffer-size setting. The CPU meter works again, a new AUDIO meter shows the audio engine's load, and tapping either opens a detailed resource view.
• Prepare inspector. Shows the release year and the playlists a track is in.

Known limits: AutoMix echo and reverb exits for tracks that can't be beat-matched, and loop moves during tempo changes, remain switched off until the next beta. A track whose tempo is far from the next one still crossfades. Fades can still cross a vocal the detector misses. Re-measure Beatgrids is new; try it on a few tracks first.

• Plug-in authorisation and Retry. Vendor licence complaints, setup windows, timeouts and helper failures have separate statuses. Retry checks the selected plug-in again without restarting djLibrary. Disabled plug-ins stay disabled and a real crash quarantine still needs an explicit retry.
• Soothe3 compatibility. Revised helper signing and initialisation allow the installed iLok-protected Soothe3 AU and VST3 to load. This does not add automatic iLok connection monitoring.
• Mono and multichannel effects. Stereo is averaged for a mono input, and a mono output reaches both speakers. Larger layouts use the first two channels of the main input and output; unused inputs receive silence and extra outputs are discarded. External sidechain routing is not assigned.
• Plug-in timing. Fixed plug-in delay is included in dry/wet, bypass, deck and headphone-cue alignment. A quality or oversampling change that alters delay requires reloading the effect; its quality setting is not silently reduced.
• Transport, waveforms and controllers. Includes repairs for waveform loading and audible-position alignment, bounded MIDI input processing, quantised PLAY and exact saved hot-cue recall. Hosted FX have channel assignment and On/Off controls.
• AutoMix and Preview. Includes pitch-stability and alternate-title duplicate-suggestion repairs. Preview can use Loop extension, Intro hold, Roll and Brake when the source and engine qualify. These moves require Signalsmith or djLibrary (beta); Apple playback retains the established transitions. Let AUTO load the incoming deck before Preview. Manual Slip and Beat FX remain available before the mix.
• SoundCloud sign-in. Uses the deployed sign-in service so friends should not need a developer client secret.

Known limits: AutoMix automatic variety and listening quality on real music remain unfinished. Some fully wet delay/reverb presets can be refused when loaded or restored because their timing cannot be qualified; the preset is not silently changed. A setting with some direct signal inside the plug-in may qualify.

Validation includes 464 Release regression cases, one separate editor fixture, and Soothe3 1.0.4 AU/VST3 audio and saved-state checks at 44.1, 48 and 96 kHz. Physical APC40 MkII input, displayed waveforms, fresh-user sign-in and human listening still require acceptance checks.

• Plug-ins run reliably. The plug-in helper now processes audio in blocks that match your output device's buffer size, so plug-ins no longer miss their deadlines.
• Choose or remove a plug-in during a live session. The change re-syncs smoothly with a brief fade. Plug-in menus also no longer close by themselves.
• Quantised PLAY. Pressing PLAY waits for the playing deck's next beat, and the PLAY lamp flashes while it is armed. Going from CUE to PLAY is now a seamless hand-off.
• Elastic COLOR. COLOR filter sweeps can spring back to centre when you let go. The COLOR filter is also smoother, with no dip at the centre and no stepping as you turn it.
• FM Radio joins the Master FX presets.
• Mixer and FX bar layout. A new grid layout for two-deck mixing. The FX bar uses the full window width, and Large text now reaches the FX bar and the mixer.
• Streamed tracks (Deemix and SoundCloud) show their cover art, and get automatic cues when that option is turned on.
• Next Up “Suggest from”. Choose your whole library, the current playlist or any playlist you pick. Streamed tracks can now be suggested using an estimated BPM and key, marked as estimates and replaced by our own analysis once the track is analysed.
• Timecode offsets. Suggested offsets with a caution when tracks overlap, offsets that are kept per playlist, and a Show scope.
• AutoMix has more robust real-time timing and more detailed diagnostics.

Still in progress: AutoMix on real music is not finished and may fall back to simpler mixes. Moving a plug-in between channels still needs Perform to be stopped. Live-output and real-music listening qualification is ongoing.

• Perform layout refresh. A centred header, a tidier master cluster, a taller deck preview, and decks that now size to their content and give the space back to the library below them. Command-F searches your whole library.
• Rock-solid two-deck waveforms. Two-deck waveforms draw steadily and stay smooth through pitch moves, without stair-stepping.
• AU and VST3 plug-ins. Host Audio Unit and VST3 effects in Perform. Plug-ins run in separate helper processes, so a misbehaving plug-in cannot take the app down. Scanning is fast: the list appears immediately from plug-in metadata, each plug-in is fully checked only when you pick it, and ones that need a licence are skipped rather than blocking the scan. Settings now has a Plug-ins manager. In this beta a plug-in can be chosen only while Perform is stopped.
• Master FX. New Master FX popovers with opto compression and dynamics controls.
• Hot cues. Right-click a hot cue pad or its waveform flag to rename it, change its colour, or delete it, in Perform and Prepare. Changes are undoable, and Perform track rows show cue markers.
• Keep my deck changes between loads. An option to keep edits you make on a deck when you load the track again.
• Link Export browsing. Players browsing your library over Pro DJ Link can now use the BPM, Date Added and Matching categories.
• Session History shows one row per session in the sidebar, with its tracks listed on the right.
• Key shift uses the Signalsmith engine by default, with an independent key shift control and cleaner vocals on full mixes.
• Prepare previews. Auditioning starts from a cold deck, and rows show cue markers on their waveforms.

Still in progress: AutoMix improvements on real music are not finished, and live-output and real-music listening qualification is ongoing. Plug-ins can be chosen only while Perform is stopped in this beta.

• New AutoMix settings use a 16-bar preferred blend and 32-bar maximum. Existing settings are preserved; choose Use standard blend lengths to reset older blend lengths.

These playback repairs passed focused automated and rendered-audio checks. Live-output and real-music listening qualification remains ongoing. Advanced AutoMix transitions, third-party FX hosting, new Master FX controls and the newly requested Prepare and Export browsing features are not included in this beta.

• Fixed rejection of the larger AAC file reads requested by legacy CDJs. The old read limit reproduced the CDJ-2000's C194 error.

The Link Export repairs passed automated regression checks. The final player replay of the AAC repair remains pending, as does physical CDJ verification.

• AutoMix can use supported 16-beat blends, fall back to a labelled short crossfade when optional analysis or a confirmed match is unavailable, and move fades ahead of quiet track endings.
• Fixed a reproduced playback interruption when exiting loops with djLibrary or Signalsmith tempo processing, and repaired tempo-processor cleanup crashes.
• Added optional OSC control for decks A–D and the mixer, with state feedback and a copyable address reference in Settings → OSC. The connection is off by default.
• Improved Link Export browsing and loading for CDJ-2000, CDJ-2000NXS and CDJ-2000NXS2. Verified with firmware emulators; physical CDJ testing remains pending.

• AutoMix can continue with a native-tempo handover when a reliable beatmatched overlap is unavailable. Fixed transition completion and progression through queued tracks.
• Added an optional Signalsmith Master Tempo engine for the ±6%, ±10% and ±12% tempo ranges, with corrected pitch stability around normal speed. Choose it in Settings → Perform → Key lock & key shift, then start a new Perform session. Apple remains the default; WIDE and independent key shift use the other engines.
• Key folders follow your musical or Camelot notation preference and highlight the closest harmonic matches to the master deck.
• Auto Hot Cue can process an entire playlist or library in the background, with progress, cancellation and a result summary. Tracks without the necessary analysis are reported as skipped.
• TOUCH starts from a neutral position and builds the nudge gradually, reducing the jump on first contact.
• Drag individual Deemix tracks from search, albums, playlists or Downloads onto a Perform deck. Decks show download, import and analysis progress, and respect your cache or permanent-library choice.

The optional Master Tempo engine has passed timing, cue and four-deck performance checks. Real-music listening feedback is still being collected. Deemix deck loading has been tested with controlled provider responses; a live account download still needs confirmation.

• Live waveforms recover from temporary data-fetch failures, refresh when analysis finishes, and use available detailed player waveforms.
• SoundCloud notices no longer cover the small waveform when Waves is enabled. Provider and preview details appear in the deck status area.
• Streamed tracks support beatgrid corrections, Undo/Redo and Restore Analysed Grid. Corrections apply to that deck until the track is unloaded.
• Deck drops show download, import and analysis progress, including measured percentages where available.
• Fixed the Spotify sign-in callback error caused by a trailing slash in the return address.
• Corrected waveform Vinyl hold and CDJ click behaviour, and removed the stale waveform image beneath dragging. Added a Hold meter peaks setting.
• Added 1/3 and 2/3 beat loops, a track-ending warning on the overview waveform, and key folders in Library and Perform.
• Reduced the two-deck mixer's excess height when the browser is collapsed.
• Improved Pro DJ Link track identity, remote loading and waveform timing through library refreshes and reconnections.

Pro DJ Link emulator loading and a fresh Spotify sign-in still need confirmation in normal use. This release does not introduce a replacement Master Tempo engine or claim that every AutoMix track pair can overlap.

Private beta — build 795: AutoMix returns to original tempo.

AutoMix tempo return

• After the outgoing deck is silent, the incoming track gradually returns to its original tempo and finishes at 0%.
• The return follows the track’s beatgrid, easing in and out. Larger tempo differences take longer, with shorter returns when the track has less time remaining.
• The next track can load during the return. AutoMix plans its transition after the tempo has settled, avoiding stale tempo matches.
• Pause suspends the return. Manual tempo control, Take Over or turning AUTO off cancels it at the current speed. Skip plans the next mix from the speed you hear now.

Still being investigated

Opening Settings can interrupt playback through AirPods Pro. This issue remains under investigation.
