EX3+, as a main and understudy pair

The EX3+ goes out as a pair — main and understudy — with a 10GbE show network and KVM, so the show keeps running if one server doesn't. Prices are per server, so a pair is two. An Analog Way Aquilon C-Mini can be added as the switcher between main and backup; it's priced separately.

X1, X2 and X3 laptop systems

For smaller shows, a complete disguise system in a fly rack, built around a Lenovo Legion laptop with an RTX 5090:

Available as X1, X2 or X3 — one 4K output per step: X1 drives one, X2 two, X3 three. A redundant system is available too.

hire terms

Weekly dry hire within the UK, quoted ex VAT. Kit is prepped and tested before it goes out; delivery, collection and on-site support can be arranged. First-time hires need ID and a deposit — the full terms are in the hire policy.

Is the EX3+ available on its own?

Which disguise version is it on?

r34, on the latest Windows 11 image. If your project needs a different release, say so when you book.

What is the difference between X1, X2 and X3?

The number of 4K outputs: X1 drives one, X2 two and X3 three. They are complete laptop systems in a fly rack, with timecode, audio, capture and networking already in it.

Can we pre-vis the show offline?

Yes — hire a disguise Designer Pro licence on r34 and build the project before the servers or the stage exist. It comes as a dongle, a licence transfer to your own machine, or installed on one of my machines. It isn't included with server hire, but it is when you book me to programme.

Can you programme the show as well?

Yes — I programme disguise for touring, festivals, corporate and broadcast. You can hire the kit on its own or book me with it.

Is delivery available?

Delivery, collection and on-site support can be arranged. Hire is within the UK only.
