Moondrop DSP Control
Parametric EQ and device control for Moondrop USB DACs — that remembers your sound.
before you open it
On first launch macOS asks for Input Monitoring — required to receive replies from the dongle, whose volume buttons make macOS treat it as a protected input device. The app only talks to Moondrop hardware.
The app is Developer ID signed but not yet notarised, so on first open macOS may need right-click ▸ Open, or approval under System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security.
Moondrop's USB DACs have a great DSP and one maddening flaw: unplug the dongle and your EQ is gone. Moondrop DSP Control fixes that. Save your curve as a profile, set it as the default for your device, and a lightweight menu bar watcher silently re-flashes it every time you reconnect — no browser, no cable ritual, no thinking about it.
Under the hood it speaks the same USB HID protocol as Moondrop's own web tool, implemented natively with IOKit — no drivers, no kernel extensions, no Electron. The whole app is a single sandboxed Swift binary.
